BI 019: Encourage, Don’t Discourage

Play

After getting seriously derailed from my podcast schedule with the addition of Baby Buck, I got a nice nudge to get back on track from Jai Catalano. I’m not just blowing hot air. YIPPEE!

Today’s topic deals with how to relate with others. Do you communicate with a positive tone or a negative one? There’s no right or wrong answer, but in my book, positive is greater than negative so I try my best to deal with everyone in an upbeat, friendly manner. Do unto others as you would have done to you, right?

Stay Inspired!

Great to hear your voice again. I always try for the positive spin as much as I can, but go negative if there is a reason. Words of encouragement that motivate someone else lift me up as well.

Have fun with Baby Buck. They don’t stay babies for long.

Thanks Lee! Great point of going negative if there is a reason. Sometimes it is necessary. But there are some people who are naturally negative and just bring people down. Thanks for the baby advice. He’s growing pretty quick!

  2. Good advice for just about any situation! Great advice for kids. Works wonders on the job too.

I definitely lean towards the positive side in most everything. Letting go of my old friends who were always bad mouthing others and complaining helped a lot.

Life is too short to be angry at the world and grouchy. As the song goes, don’t worry be happy!

Good job Sydney! When I was younger, I was naive to think that I needed to keep all of my friends. But why keep negative, bad mouthers around when all they do is bring you down? Life IS too short! Don’t worry be happy? Love it!
