PLUSH 2013 Recap
Last weekend I attended PLUSH 2013. It is bigger and better than before as Jina Park, founder and CEO of PLUSH, expanded from a one day consumer show to a 3 day expo. Two days were for B2B and the final day was the usual B2C. I saw a lot of great products and met a lot of wonderful people. Here are some additional highlights.
Kid Friendly
Last year, PLUSH was more for adults. This year, the PLUSH staff really outdid themselves by going all out sprucing up the kids play area. There was a Winnie the Pooh storytelling section, beautiful animal wall prints, balloon animal artists (Super Inflated), and a children’s song dance troupe (Birdie’s Playhouse). Baby Buck had a great time dancing and playing with his balloons.
Baby Goes Hollywood
PLUSH once again laid out the red carpet and the paparazzi was in full force. Lisa Rinna and Jason Kennedy hosted while Garcelle Beauvais and a slew of on camera personalities graced the runway. I felt like I was at a Hollywood movie premiere.
Vendor in the House?
Now that Baby Buck is a toddler, I naturally gravitated toward products that he can use. Here are the companies that piqued my interest. Stay tuned for more details and product reviews.
Ubbi (diaper pail)
guavakids (guava baby mitts)
Mixie (baby formula bottle)
MD MOMS (dry skin rescue cream)
Nuna (leaf baby swinger)
Joovy (Moon Room playard)
Britax (B-Agile stroller)
Tivioli Couture (memory foam stroller liner)
Luca and Company (The FunPod kitchen help station)
Inglesina (Zuma highchair)
Baby J Co (play mat)
Quax / Intelligent Potty
ACE Baby Furniture (mobile closet stand)
Woolino (baby sleep sack)
Bump Nest (body pillow)
Ju Ju Be (diaper bag)
Little Dundi (soft structured baby walker)
Gibout Toys (eco-friendly toys)
Daddy Scrubs (daddy gear)
Final Thoughts
Like I mentioned before, PLUSH effortlessly blends, baby, luxury, and Hollywood all into one weekend. Women were treated to massages while men could lounge in a man cave. There were tons of furniture stores, fabulous giveaways, and fun activities like a reading from the Winnie the Pooh story telling champion. All and all, a full weekend of education, entertainment, and inspiration.

What was your favorite part of PLUSH?
Stay Inspired!
Buck
Since I didn’t go I can’t say what my favorite part was. I like looking in vendor booths though, even if it’s not something I’m in the market for. I just like trade show style booths.
I’m sure I would have had to check out the man cave.

Trade show booths are fun to visit. Interesting products and the reps are energized about their companies. I can imagine you ruling the man cave Lee!
Looks like you had a great time Buck! Having a toddler myself, this interests me!
You should your local shows MC! Latest and greatest products and tons of experts. We can always learn a thing or two eh?
My wifey would have so loved the massages and I bet that man cave was one of the best ever. Since I didn’t go I would just have to say from the post and the pic looks like you really enjoyed your time there.
I should have got a massage too, but wanted the expectant mothers to enjoy their well deserved massage. It was a blast Thomas!
I was beginning to wonder what would draw you to a convention featuring baby toys and diaper pails Buck but after seeing the photo of you and Jina Park I understand!
Can’t get anything past you Paul!
Thank you for mentioning our sleep bags and stopping by! 🙂
My pleasure and hope you had a great PLUSH!
