My First YouTube Video – PLUSH Show 2013
Inspired by Jina Park expanding PLUSH from a one day consumer show into a three day trade and consumer expo, I wanted to expand my content into YouTube. It’s been a long time coming as I needed to settle my confidence debt, but the stars were aligned. My favorite baby show that featured celebrities and a red carpet would be the perfect backdrop for my video debut. Thanks again to Jina Park (PLUSH) for being a great interview with your passion and expertise. Finally, special thanks to Good Financial Cents (Jeff), Thousandnaire (Kevin), and Your Finances Simplified (Dominique) for being video trail blazers. This one’s for you. Here’s the equipment I used to make this video.

Great job on the video! I’m glad that you showed the clips of the video rather than just your conversation. Great editing. It gave me a great view of the offerings and the overall show.
…but she had me at “beer.”
Thanks Joe! I’m sure you know with your podcast, but even a five minute clip takes a lot of work to complete. Yeah, my eyes lit up on beer too, haha!
Outstanding job. I’m with what Joe already said. I think you have a future in this sort of thing, Buck. I watched the whole video and it kept my attention throughout.

A Faraway View
Appreciate the kind words Lee! We’ll see where this goes. No matter what happens, I was just glad to get over my personal fear. Thanks again!
Nice going Buck! I haven’t gotten around to the videos yet but Youtube is a great way to go. How were you able to get the interview with the CEO? Did you know her are just asked?
Thanks Thomas! I went last year so we knew each other from before. I worked with her PR company to schedule time for the interview. I thought it would be the perfect time to jump into video too. Everything worked out pretty well.
Great intro video. I’ve been figuring out how to get my written content into the YouTube world. A bit of hesitation but should definitely start. More practice the better right?!
Keep it up.
Thanks Jason! You nailed. Just do it, practice, and eventually you’ll get better. Thanks again!
That’s actually a pretty good video, are you sure this is your first?
You caught me Peter. My friends and I messed with public access TV back in the day. But it is really my first YouTube video. Glad you liked it!
