Must Have iPhone Baby Apps

Things are humming along, two months in with Baby Buck. Besides adjusting to this big life change, I leaned on three iPhone apps to get me to this point.

When my wife was going through labor, we weren’t in the mood for watching tv or movies. Sadly there wasn’t a radio in the room, but we did have wireless internet access. Listening to classical music calmed the restless beast in me and comes in handy when Baby Buck is raging for milk or a diaper change.

Who needs a pen and paper to record vital baby information when you can punch them all into your smartphone. With its easy to use interface, coupled with all the categories you need (breastfeeding, bottle feeding, diaper changes, sleep, and growth), Similac has your baby data collecting covered as your baby grows.

When you can’t get to your higher powered lens in time, you can still capture those precious moments with your iPhone camera. With Apple’s domination of the smartphone market, it’s easy to see why the iPhone camera is also now the most popular digital camera around. Don’t forget to flip to video mode if you want to capture a priceless moment in all its glory with the addition of motion, emotion, and sound.

Were there any apps I missed? Please share with the class.

No apps, but I do not have a smartphone anyway! You should play the calming music, in fact all kinds for the baby. It helps soothe and get used to noise.

  2. Apps such as I Heart Radio are great tools. Sometimes they are perfect for when you can’t be totally engaged in entertainment, yet the thought of total silence is less than appealing.

  3. These sound great! I don’t have any bambinos yet, but I love the radio app & I’m lusting over an iPhone simply for the photo ops. As soon as I have my next full-time job secured, I’ll finally be upgrading to a smartphone!

To catch the growing up moments of my baby, her first word word, potty etc. I can’t think without Camera. It’s a real lifesaver. I am lucky to have an iPhone!

  6. I remember good old times of my childhood and book where my mom wrote all that staff. I think it’s better to use special book for moments of baby’s life ’cause I can open it even today.
