Guava Kids Guava Mitts Review With Lili Yeo
I have been fortunate so far as the only health issue Baby Buck has is eczema. However, when it hits Baby Buck goes into a scratching frenzy. We’ve tried baby gloves and socks, but now that he has teeth, he can pull them off. Guavamitts to the rescue!
When we first put them on Baby Buck, he couldn’t stop looking and showing off his new accessory. The color and design helps stimulate his eyes. The velcro straps keep the mitts on our little Houdini. Although the straps are on the outside of his palm, when he gets tired he sometimes rubs his eyes with the velcro side. Just be mindful of scratches to the face as the strap isn’t as soft as the inside palm side.
Although Baby Buck’s eczema flares up every once in awhile at least his guavamitts keep him from scratching and making it worse. If his eyes and brain are really being stimulated by the colorful pattern, that’s icing in the cake!
A few weeks ago at PLUSH 2013, Lili, the fiery Co-Founder and CEO of GuavaKids curiously asked what I was doing and if I wanted to learn more about her product. I just finished panning through several vendor booths and I had shut down my camcorder to take a break. But because she was so positive, enthusiastic, and passionate about her product, I was compelled to reopen my camcorder and shoot her speaking about guavakids, guavamitts, and guavaboots. This is a great lesson for me because I’m normally low-key and fly below the radar. On the other hand, Lili was confident, curious, took action, and made herself an opportunity. She was one of the people who stood out at PLUSH and is a perfect example of how to run a business, network, and live life.
