Grow Your Twitter Followers Exponentially
Since my BlogWorld Business Card Challenge happens at the end of the week, I am keeping with the blogging theme. This time let’s turn to social media. After chugging along with a few hundred followers by methodically following Twitter suggestions, I wanted to kick it up a notch. I’m no Kim Kardashian or Justin Bieber, but I did enjoy a nice Twitter follower growth spurt after doing just one thing. I guest posted on ProBlogger.
If you recall, in my ProBlogger Guest Post Review, I didn’t experience a traffic spike. I did get a massive amount of retweets. In my haste, I forgot to mention my blog address or a blog article. Bad Buck! However, I can’t get too upset because I did want to grow my subscribers and followers and added links accordingly. What did happen was my followers started rolling in non-stop. When it rained, it poured. Rather than reinvent the wheel, here are my favorite links to guest posting on ProBlogger.

Final Thoughts
Honestly, I’ve taken to Twitter more than Facebook. I told myself to focus on Twitter growth and that’s exactly what I did. When you focus, plan, and strive for a goal, positive results soon follow. I also made it a point to follow every follower, follow Twitter recommended users, share my posts, and retweet the post of others. If you’re looking for a surefire way to exponentially grow your Twitter follower count, bring you’re A game and guest post on ProBlogger.
Stay Inspired!
Buck
Thanks Buck for the tips! However, I sometimes doubt the genuineness of the followers on twitter. I shall try using it more and see if it helps. I use facebook more!
Good point Roslia about genuineness. I need to step up my Facebook efforts. Thanks!
Hi!
Thank you for a great post. I feel that we must improve the follower base by writing quality tweets and also replying to each and every tweet. This way we can show that we are genuine followers!
Regards,
Steve
Great advice Steve. Will look to improve on my tweets and tweet replies. Thanks!
Glad to hear you had such success. Thanks for the tips.
Thanks Miss T! Glad you found them helpful.
Great tips Buck! Twitter is about engaging, so the more you do that, the more followers will like to follow you!
Thanks Robert. Couldn’t have said it better myself!
I haven’t registered yet to Twitter since I’m a Facebook user for a long time. I haven’t even seen the website as well. But after reading your post, I think I’m gonna try and have a look at it as well. Thanks and god bless!
I refused to join Facebook or Twitter for the longest time. Seemed so tme consuming. But if you control yourself, you’ll be fine. It is a little addicting. Thanks!
Buck, can you post a link to ProBlogger article? I am thinking on submitting one and curious to read what actually makes it to that site. As far as Twitter… it is all about building relationships.
Let me know if you have any questions. Will be glad to help. Here it is. Ignore the A-list Bloggers! Actually almost everything is about building relationships these days!
I am trying to do all of the above. I think some work better than others for different people. I am not sure which one works for me, so I will do all.
Sounds like a plan. KC, social media expert, here he comes!
Having just completed my own Twitter 30 Day Challenge I can vouch for the theory that a focused strategy does pay dividends. I look forward to following your Twitter growth…already looks like you have a small army of followers.
I enjoyed your Twitter Challenge. You should make another one for Facebook. I need some help there myself. Small army? I paid them on the side. Just kidding! Hopefully one day we both will have an army of monsters like Lady Gaga!
Glad things are working for you. With current number of followers each of your tweet containing BI link should give you some hits. If those gets re-tweeted you’ll get more. I often wonder how people created 1M something followers, I mean at what rate?
Thanks SB. Yeah 1M is an insane number. You could get famous like Charlie Sheen and go crazy! If not, guess we just take it a step at a time, a cent at at time, and a follower at a time.
Great strategy Buck. Will definitely keep this in mind 🙂
Thanks Mary!
As Twitter has become more popular, so the use of it as part of a marketing strategy has increased. There is a lot that I need to learn about it, but it’s good to hear stories of it improving traffic and recognition of others’ blogs. Congratulations on your success and thanks for the information.
Thanks Monica. Lot to learn. This is the wild west right now. No standards set so everyone should jump in and make the best of it!
It seems like the answer to all social media woes is to simply guest post at a more popular website. Guest posts and reddit have made my twitter followers and traffic spike.
Looks like we have similar experiences. Are you going to guest post again in the future? I really should, but have been swamped lately.
So far, I haven’t been able to get past the name ‘Twitter’. : ) I’m having enough trouble focusing on content right now!
I had a hard time with Twitter and tweets too. Im getting the hang of it now.
Thank you for sharing these great tips to improve Tweeter followers. Perfect!
Youre welcome! Do you have any tips to share?
Hello Buck! I was conscious of using Twitter, to tell you frankly i really don’t know who to follow and i was thinking if somebody will follow me as well. Unlike Facebook it’s easy to choose who will you subscribe. I hope I can learn about Twitter too.
It’s not that bad after you get used it. Give it a shot!
