Five Dollar Logos Update
I’m sure you are dying to know the results. Ok, hold the laughter, please. 🙂 I should push this out as long as I can like American Idol or Dancing with the Stars. Seacrest and Bergeron I am not. In case you missed the first round of voting. It’s not to late to check out Fiverr: Five Dollar Logos.
It was closer than I thought. I gave one point per vote. Some folks gave a second place which I gave a half point. The red logo squeaked it out by 2 and a half points. There was a three way tie for second, the blue one, the orange one, and none of the above. The clear cut loser was the three columns. Ironically, the logo of the LA Convention Center is similar, but not as appealing as well.
So what to do? More votes may come in as this article just got featured in the Totally Money Blog Carnival #3. It’s an impressive list of personal finance articles so please check it out when you can.
But as for now, I am leaning toward not changing my logo. The votes for none of the above were quite passionate and made me think twice. Some of the comments of being too businessy and corporate hit home. Buck Inspire, businessy and corporate? Never! I tried making the red one a favicon, but it looks like a red v or an arm. I am also thinking of using one of the three logos as my gravatar, but I’ve kind of gotten used to seeing Mr. Gerard’s mug. We’ll see how it goes. Overall my Fiverr experience was a resounding success. I may have to look into other ways to utilize this website. Once again, I am still taking votes, but after the first round of voting, the leading logo is featured below.
