Campus Circle: Conviction
On Tuesday night, hit a screening of Conviction. Although I’m not a movie critic by any means, this was a great watch. What’s even more amazing is that it’s based on a true story. Hilary Swank, Sam Rockwell, and Minnie Driver turned in some amazing performances. That Boston accent was pretty thick. Where’s my clam chow-dah?!?! Anyway, got to Arclight Hollywood about an hour and a half before showtime and the line was already stretched to the street. What’s also fun about these screenings is there are more screenings offers being passed out as well. When we finally got in, they buttered us up with free popcorn and soda! So keep this in mind about my positive comments. I remember years ago, I saw King’s Ransom with Anthony Anderson. I raved about it to a friend. He saw it and said it sucked, big time. I then realized, I was also under the influence of popcorn and soda. Anyway, I digress. Check out Campus Circle for future free screenings. Can’t beat a great movie at the Arclight, popcorn, and soda all for two dollars to pay for parking.
