The Avengers Thank You Roundup

Last weekend I managed a little escape from Baby Buck as his grandma offered to babysit. If that’s the case, all I can say is Avengers Assemble!

Although the Avengers was smashing box office records, I went in expecting little. It didn’t help that I didn’t catch all the build up movies namely Captain America and Thor. I was thoroughly entertained! This is how summer blockbusters are supposed to be made. Terrific ensemble cast that worked brilliantly together. Robert Downey Jr. and the Hulk do steal the show, but the other superheroes all played worthy roles. Chris Evans does a great turn as the patriotic first Avenger and Chris Hemsworth does his best Shakespeare as the Assgardian demi-god Thor.

Final Thoughts

Joss Whedon deserves all the credit in the world for helping to pen this action packed, fun filled script while also deftly managing egos and screen time. Since they already hauled in one billion dollars with a capital B, you can be sure we’ll be seeing Avengers 2 very soon. Excelsior!

Stay Inspired!

Hey Buck, I loved the Avengers. Great script, awesome action, the good guys won, and the door is open for a sequel. My kids thought it was great too.

Sorry I have been MIA for a few weeks. Moving house in a week and all the stress of renting our house and buying another has overwhelmed me. I look forward to reconnecting in the second half of the year.

    Hope you’re doing well.

    Hunter.

Glad we’re on the same page for Avengers. It was a lot of fun. All is well here, except for a reduction in sleep hours.

Don’t apologize. That’s quite an adventure you went through. Good luck with the move and we’ll catch up when things settle down!

  2. I liked it too! I definitely didn’t understand who all the characters were and whether they’d had their own movies, but that hardly mattered. It was so fun. I saw it in 3D, which was awesome.
