  1. We eat at hole in the wall places all of the time. I much prefer one off restaurants than big chains. Not only is the usually better but you get a real unique experience too. I have had Korean BBQ too just the veggie kind. It is quite yummy.

  2. 2 for $25 is a great price. I’ll have to go with a buddy though, Mrs. RB40 can’t pull her weight in a buffet.

It is interesting that their name represents three locations in the name. Tangiers, Korea and Tokyo ( Japan). We occasionally eat Korean food and love the marinated food.

  4. This post has made me so hungry. Love great food, and this looks to be amazing, and outstanding value.

  5. Hole in the wall joints often are the best food. You just have to be careful — food poisoning can be a pain! Ha. I’ll have to try that Korean BBQ…..I’ve had Southern BBQ and it’s incredible. Korean though? Hmm…interesting.

True on both points. For Korean BBQ, you fry your own food so just make sure it’s cooked and you’ll be fine. Quite different from Southern BBQ, you should give it a try if you are a meat lover!

  6. Count me in… love buffets, wine, and deals!!! Just have to remember to avoid overdoing it :)

  7. Hey Buck! Just giving you the heads up. Yakezie seems to have been hacked!

oh yum. I had some kalbi yesterday at a friend’s bbq. I don’t go to all you can eat places that often b/c I always feel like I’m going to explode afterwards. I’m a casual gal so I don’t need a lot of ambiance to become a regular at a restaurant. Food quality comes first, prices and service second, location third, ambiance last. -Sydney

  9. Sounds like a fun time. You’re right, it’s good to be frugal, but we all have to remember to live a little as well. :) In my area, I have found “several hole in the walls” that have amazing food for great prices. :) Definitely a great night out.
