BI 044: Success Tips From The Rock

Last weekend I was inspired by Pat Flynn to try some new techniques to improve my podcast. At the same time, I read a terrific article on Yahoo breaking down why The Rock is the only wrestler/athlete to breakout in show business. He’s on fire as he’s tied to two huge movie franchises (Fast and Furious and GI Joe) and true story, comedy drama (Pain & Gain). Learn why his predecessors like Hulk Hogan did not explode on the scene and how you can apply three takeaways to be more successful in your career and your passions.

Thank you so much for listening. I hope you liked the new format. Please do leave any comments, questions, and suggestions. If you haven’t already, please stop by iTunes to leave a review, good or bad. Don’t worry, I can handle the truth.

Enjoyed the podcast and the topic. You are so correct with the points you make here. I’ve always been a believer in learning as much as I can about what I’m doing. This is what has helped me step into management positions in the jobs I’ve had. My philosophy has always been to do my job well and learn how to do as many other people’s jobs as I can. Taking oneself too seriously can often lead to a lot of stress and lightening up can help relieve the stress of an entire environment.

Good job as always. Keep ’em coming.

I like the Rock. He really has a contagious smile. And he seems like he’s a nice person from what I’ve seen of him. Pain & Gain looks like it’s going to be pretty funny!
