I’m usually a sucker for feel good movies, especially true stories, but Big Miracle was a big letdown. I’m normally a fan of Drew Barrymore, John Krasinski, and Kristen Bell, but all their characters fell flat. Barrymore was even downright irritating. Last time I suggested One For The Money be renamed as One For The Rental. This time, it’s going to be a Big Miracle if this movie breaks even.

I’ve only heard negative things about that Big Miracle so far, and your review is icing on my “not gonna see it” cake. Too bad, because the previews look pretty good. I’m almost done catching up on all the Oscar nominees….three to go and I’m done. Tonight: The Help. I really don’t want to see the Louder…Incredibly Close movie (doesn’t look like my type of movie)…but I’ll see that next week. The problem for me is going to be The Actor, which isn’t at any theater near us.

We’re suckers for whale / feel good movies. Our three years in Monterey gave us the opportunity to see a few grey whales. Amazing creatures.

Thanks for saving me some money! My girlfriend has been nagging me about seeing this flick and Ive resisted for a few days, but now I have a reference to tell her to its a waste of time and money. Drew Barrymore used to choose her roles carefully, hope she isnt getting greedy and taking whatever floats by as she ages. Still hot, though!
